San Antonio a Big Success!

CC Brown, authors of Dark Side, arrived in style. A white, stretch Hummer Limo delivered the three to their book signing at San Pedro Barnes and Noble in San Antonio July 16.

CC Brown is the pseudonym adopted by the three authors: Schyrlet Cameron, Carolyn Craig, and Kathy Brown.  

Their novel delves into the wildly popular world of the paranormal, taking readers on a suspense-charged ride filled with bloodthirsty vampires and extraordinary women.

Dark Side was chosen Best of Show at the 2011 Northern Oklahoma Literary Arts Book Festival. It was also chosen the “Number One Summer Read” by the Springfield News-Leader in 2011. Dark Side is avalible at barnesand noble.com, amazon.com, and smashwords.com.

About the Author
Laura L. Valenti has been blessed to be a Bennett Spring resident and a freelance writer for over 30 years. She has written more than 500 newspaper and magazine features, including several on the history of the state park. She is the author of two non-fiction books and two previous novels. She and her husband, Warren, recently retired from the Missouri Department of Conservation, are the parents of four grown children and grandparents to five grandsons, all of whom still love to fish at Bennett Spring.
